Make a Statement This Summer

This summer is all about statement (also known as trophy) jackets. From sequins and bows, to embellishments and bold prints, these jackets instantly add the 'wow' factor to any outfit. Fearlessness and balance are the keys to statement jackets: don't be afraid to wear something a little more bright or detailed than usual BUT make sure you balance this out by keeping the rest of your outfit as plain as you can - block colours if possible. I plan to wear my new jacket with a black vest, black hareem pants, my trusted Mulberry Bayswater (also in black) and tan gladiator sandals.
